What is AI (Artificial Intelligence )

AI means a set of technologies that enable computers to performe variety of advanced functions, understand and translate spoken and written language, including ability to see and analize data etc.


Why is artificial Intelligence important?
AI is important because it can give enterprises insights into their operations that they may not have been aware of previously and because, in some cases, AI can perform tasks better than humans. Particularly when it comes to repetitive, detail-oriented tasks like analyzing large numbers of legal documents to ensure relevant fields are filled in properly, AI tools often complete jobs quickly and with relatively few errors.
This has helped fuel an explosion in efficiency and opened the door to entirely new business opportunities for some larger enterprises. Prior to the current wave of AI, it would have been hard to imagine using computer software to connect riders to taxis, but today Uber has become one of the largest companies in the world by doing just that. It utilizes sophisticated machine learning algorithms to predict when people are likely to need rides in certain areas, which helps proactively get drivers on the road before they're needed. As another example, Google has become one of the largest players for a range of online services by using machine learning to understand how people use their services and then improving them.


4 Main type of Artificial Intelligence :

1.Reactive Machines- These are AI system that have no memory and have no task specific. It means input always delivers same output.Machine learrning models tend to be reactive machines because machiens take customers data such as purchase and search history. Then according the same data machines recommend the same product to customers.
Like Amazon, Netflix these companies use RM model

2. Limited Memory-
This is second type of memory of AI. This algorithm imitates the way our brains neurons work together. Deep learning improves image recognition and other type of crucial learning.
It look into the past and monitor specific object or situations over time. These observation are programmed into the artificial intelligence so that its action can perform based on past and present moment data.
AI's memory as experience to learn from the way, humen mights derive meaning from their success and failures.
A good example of this type memory is self driving car.

3.Theory of Mind
We already read about reactive machines and limited memory now this is third type of AI known as Theory of mind. It is a self awareness memory which also a kind of future memory. It is not exist in real world it based on future imagination.
If it is developed, theory if mind AI coukd have the potential to understand the world and other entities have thoughts and emotions.
We understand how our emotions and thought affect others and vice-versa. In the future Theory of Mind AI could be able to understand intention and predict our behavior!

4.Self- Awareness
The last type of AI is self awareness the evolution of AI world be to design system that have that have a sense of self, a conscious understanding of their existence.
This type of AI does not exist yet.
