About This Programme

Artificial intelligence (AI) is an exciting, highly debated field of research and practice that offers transformative potential across all sectors of the economy. It’s a pervasive technology that has already spawned many disruptive innovations, fuelling often-inflated expectations of what it is capable of, now and in the future.

At the same time, the growing applications of AI have made society aware of both its inherent challenges and the ways in which it’s starting to change the future of work across occupations. In order to understand AI and its true potential, people need to firmly grasp how this technology works and its implications for businesses. The Oxford Artificial Intelligence Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford aims to provide you with a sound understanding of AI: its history, functionality, capabilities, and limitations.

Over the course of six weeks, you’ll be exposed to empirical research and real-life case studies. On completion, you’ll have developed an informed opinion about the possibilities AI holds, and be able to reflect on its ethical implications and potential applications in your organisation.

What this programme covers

The programme provides you with diverse insights and perspectives on the ethical, legal, and social considerations around AI so that you’re equipped to critically appraise AI technologies. It also introduces you to AI mechanics and subdisciplines, including the different types of machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks. While you won’t be expected to code, you'll still get the opportunity to learn about this field and develop a foundational understanding of how the technologies work. Ultimately, you’ll assess all the opinions surrounding AI, and then be encouraged to develop your own views about its potential uses in industry and society as a whole, culminating in a business case for the implementation of AI in your organisation.

9 Most Effective Teaching Strategies for Engaging Your Students

If You are a teacher, looking for the most effective teaching method to engage your audience we are mentioning the following ways to improved you teaching method

https://mishraumesh07.blogspot.com/2023/05/9Most-Effective-Teaching-Strategies-For-Engaging-Your-Students.html

1.Know Your Audiance

One of the most crucial part of teaching is to know your audience' Psychology and mental level because the Knowledge that you got during your childhood you did not know exactly how long you take to gain it even it is also challenging for a teacher to teach the kids with same method your teacher's mentors wete applied on them during their schoolings.
There is no doubt if your know about your students you are always rock among teaching community.

2.Excellent Communicator

Great teachers communicate directly with their students,  the respective subject’s prospects, how it can align with their hobbies, and highlight the interesting positions. This can give the students much room to express their doubts. Rather, they can start overcoming their fear and develop an interest in the subject.
A good teacher is not a dictator but as a Helper.

3.Excellent Listener

Listening  is the most beautiful skills for a teacher , Teacher  must spend considerable time speaking, discussing, and leading conversations. At the same time, He must listen to your students well, understand their thoughts, and derive a conclusion accordingly. Two-sided effective discussions will always beat the monotony of boring one-sided lectures. Being a good listener will help you listen to the student queries well, and the problems they might be facing and give them proper suggestions.

4.Adaptative Attitude

Adapting nature I think is not only for teachers but also in all profession if so nit adjust according to your workspace you may not get all achievement as you want.
Suppose you have the first period of the day with a particular class. Quite obviously, students will be charged up in the beginning hours of the class. You can go for the lecture method, allot them tasks, etc. But, if you have a class in the late hours of the second half, the students might already be tired.
You can adopt some engaging methods like asking the students to read out chapters, initiating a discussion to ensure some meaningful exchanges, and so on. A great teacher with good adaptability skills can create a wonderful environment inside the class and yield positive results.

5.Not a Super man but A Super Patient

“To lose patience is to lose the battle.”

A good teacher is very patient with his students and in the class. Child has right to make error he may be very naughty sometime his mistakes are unbearable always remember you deal with these challenges with politely, Additionally Working as an educator is a big test of your patience. He need to deal with a lot of matters like managing the classroom environment, facing opposite mindsets in the class and discussing accordingly, working with both like-minded and unlike-minded colleagues, etc.
Discussion with the parents about student progress, making them understand the important details, and participating in the parent-teacher meetings: all these need a lot of patience or else you’ll be stressed. Making a strong career in the education sector will require lot of patience.

6.Focus on Real Learning

Bookish Knowledge may develop rote learning quality in students but real learning develop practical approach which boost up student's confidence
A good teacher is focusing on real-world learning that provides the students with in-depth knowledge about the topic taught. As a teacher, need to create a practical environment in the class that helps the students derive better industry exposure, gain valuable skills and learn the concepts well.
In this tech-driven era with immense value for skills, candidates should always derive significant lessons about the in-demand market concepts. As an educator, it will be your chief role to develop such an ambiance and continue to bring value to the table.
This real learning makes students productive.

7. Encourage Students for Betterment

A winner is just a loser who tried one more time.
       —George Augustus Moore

No body is perfect, continue efforts and encourage make them powerful if your student makes error or not very good as you expecting never think he is a week student ,encourage him/her ,may be he/she has some other extraordinary skills which you did find.
Being in the education sector is not only about student-teacher interaction. There are a lot of activities that you need to take care of outside the class as well. Like, you get to work with a lot of colleagues around you. Some have the same mindset as yours, while it might differ from a few others. You might be knowledgeable in one sector, while someone can help you enrich your understanding in the space.
The best teacher will always encourage collaboration with other teachers, be interested in expanding his knowledge on a particular matter, and will look for meaningful ways to keep the classroom engaging.
As a teacher, you must never restrict yourself to boundaries but must be available to new learnings, better approaches, and strengthening your existing knowledge.

8.A good teacher has a Neutral Perspectives

If a Teacher makes a list of fistful students as his favorite so test all students will loose their confidence teacher must be neutral  for him every child is crucial because after few years students grow but lifetime they feel that you did partiality with them result they may not like you.
Hence Being a teacher will need you to be impartial in class and treat all the students equally. You can’t be biased while marking their answer scripts or setting a question paper.
When they come to your class, students must be comfortable and interested enough to be in it. They must not ever feel you’re being partial to someone else because that can have a negative influence on them and can destroy class unity.

9. A Good Teacher Should Be Honest

Teaching is the most crucial job in the world because you are the creators of many jobs in your every student comes with dreams they all are unique in physique,  intelligence,  Family , Culture , Background. If you mould child out of track you can do it easily, students never force  you for teaching they engage with you whatever you narrate them but ultimately you are killing the best time of their life. So you may teach them  various examples out of book  but remember they must relate with topic don't waste single  second in class idly.
If You cheat with students honestly you will be cheated somewhere else.
If You are not good in a perticular subject  or topic, pratice it before entering the classroom but remember never  tell your students wrong information or Solution.
